Dyson is a brand known for making huge waves in the haircare industry, from its Supersonic Hair Dryer, which launched in 2016, to its mega popular Airwrap which followed two years later.
The trendsetting brand has done it again with its latest piece of kit, the Dyson Airstrait, which officially launched at Boots on February 21. Dyson's next-generation hair straightener, which was released over in the states last year and on the Dyson website in the UK earlier this month, is said to transform wet hair and create salon-quality smooth and straight without the potential damage incurred by traditional hairdryers and straighteners.
The straightener comes in at £449.99, so it's definitely not cheap, but those who have already purchased the gadget say 'it's worth every penny'. It uses Dysons's airflow technology, instead of traditional hot plates, to simultaneously dry and straighten hair, simplifying and quickening your hair routine.

Engineered for multiple hair types, the straightener has both wet and dry styling modes, as well as a cool setting to lock in your style. Both the wet and dry modes have different heat settings to deliver the best results.
There are three heat pre-set temperatures, 80C, 110C and 140C, to take your hair from wet to a finished style. To touch up or refresh your style from dry, you can choose between the 120C or 140C heat settings, and you can use the optional boost mode for maximum styling impact.
Despite its launch around two weeks ago in the UK, the Dyson Airstrait has racked up an average star-rating of 4.4 out of five from over 170 reviews at Boots.
