Former Liverpool midfielder Luis Alberto set up a dramatic equaliser during a Champions League meeting with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday evening, teeing up Lazio's goalkeeper to score.
Alberto, who left the Reds in 2016 to sign for Lazio, played a teasing ball into the penalty area as the match entered the fifth minute of additional time after 90 minutes played. This was brilliantly attacked by shot-stopper Ivan Provedel, who headed past Jan Oblak in the dying embers of the match to rescue a point.
This sparked wild celebrations on the pitch as players sprinted onto the field of play to congratulate the Italian for his inspired effort.
In scoring this goal, Provedel became only the fourth goalkeeper to score in the Champions League and only the second to do so from open play. Sinan Bolat was the first to achieve the feat of a non-penalty finish, heading home for Standard Liege versus versus AZ Alkmaar in December 2009.

"You can't explain these things. I couldn't be happier than l am now," the Brazilian told Sky Sports after this 2-1 win. "I just tried to run into a good place and be in a good position to try and help my players, to bring a defender, but nobody followed me. I am lucky and blessed. Some things you can't explain."
