Inter Milan defenders Yann Aurel Bisseck and Carlos Augusto admits they were asleep in the first-half of their 3-3 draw with Benfica.
Joao Mario struck a first-half hat-trick before Inter fought back via Marko Arnautovic, Davide Frattesi and an Alexis Sanchez penalty to rescue a point.
Bisseck said: "We didn't get into the game for the first few minutes. I don't know for what reason, but certainly for a psychological issue. I think it can happen. But whatever happened in the first half, we corrected it in the second. This is football: sometimes it happens.
"In those situations, you just have to think that it's not over. It's all a question of not wanting to lose. At half-time, we were all angry and we took to the pitch with great desire to overturn the game."
Augusto also stated: "In the first half, we didn't get into the game well. We have a great group and a great team and the many changes to the starting XI cannot be an excuse for the first half we had. At half-time, we talked to each other, and we came out with the right mindset and played a great match."
