Luke Littler has once again lived up to expectations despite experiencing a setback on Night 2 of the Premier League Darts in Berlin.
The 17-year-old-dart player, who shot to fame with an impressive run at his World Championship debut, has enjoyed a strong start to his Premier League debut. Littler, also known as 'The Nuke', comfortably won his first game against Rob Cross, but lost out in the final to Michael van Gerwen.
Despite this, he remained positive and focused on his goal. "I just want to win that first game every week and get the two points on the board. Then hopefully win the semi and the final," Littler told Sky Sports ahead of the second night of action.
"Rob [Cross] is a good lad. I've known him for a few years now. He might want revenge [for the World Championship semi-final], he might not. As I said, I just want to get the two points on the board."

Cross gave him a tough time in their quarter-final, but eventually won 6-5. Littler then faced Humphries again in the semi-final, which also went to the final leg.
However, Littler beat the world champion to reach the final, where he played against Van Gerwen. Littler nearly won, missing two match darts on double 10.
Despite Van Gerwen's impressive average of 113.66, Littler held his own. The score was tied at 3-3, 4-4 and 5-5 before Van Gerwen finally defeated the young Englishman.
Night 3 is next Thursday at the Ovo Hydro in Glasgow. Littler will play against Gerwyn Price in the quarter-finals, while Van Gerwen will face Peter Wright. Van Gerwen said he hopes to play against Littler again.
