Liverpool has solidified itself as the UK's music capital.
Last year saw the city come alive with the Eurovision Song Contest and On The Waterfront solidified itself as an annual success. Fans were devastated to learn Neighbourhood Weekender would be taking the year off but there are plenty of more events to enjoy.
Creamfields is the not-to-be-missed sell-out event of the year that sees thousands of fans attend for a weekend of dance music. Independents such as Africa Oye and the new Liverpool Gospel Music Festival have also made their stamps on the city, bringing communities closer together than ever.

Below are the biggest events in the music festival calendar for 2024.
Taking place across the August Bank Holiday, more than 70,000 fans are to descend upon the Cheshire countryside for Creamfields’ four-day annual celebration.
New for 2024 is APEX, a colossal 30,000-capacity indoor main stage acting as the largest indoor festival superstructure in the world. This year's lineup is yet to be announced but expect the biggest names in dance music the world has to offer.

Following the success and demand for the festival, organisers have confirmed it will return in 2024 for its third annual celebration.
Two acts already announced include the legendary multi-platinum-selling Deacon Blue who will headline Sunday’s edition and DJ Ben Hemsley, headlining his biggest show to date on the Saturday.
