A popular South American cocktail lounge and restaurant that serves unlimited steak is rebranding as a tavern.
Brunos Rodizio, on Rigby Street in St Helens town centre, announced yesterday afternoon (December 29) that it would close its doors after New Year's Eve for a "total rebrand". A post on the restaurant's Facebook page said: "It is with a heavy heart that we announce after many years of trading Brunos will be closing its doors on 31st of December for a total rebrand."
The owners added: "We will be reopening mid January with a whole new look and menu - please follow our new business page Brickhouse Tavern St Helens and look out for all the latest updates regarding our new business venture. We want to thank all of our loyal customers over the years for the continued support and hope that you will continue to support us in these new exciting times."

The restaurant finished by announcing its New Year's Eve "through the decades party" was free entry for all. It added the "rock music night" celebrating St Helens Rock Music Club's second anniversary with 'Iron Mayhem' would still be going ahead on Saturday, January 6.
The restaurant is known for its unlimited steak and serves up to 14 different cuts. Customers are given a double sided card when they order, and show the green side if they want the chefs to bring more meat to their table and the red side when they are full.
