On a day when Warren Feeney slipped up, his Glentoran players didn’t, staging a spirited second-half comeback to beat 10-man Dungannon Swifts.
Goals from Marcus Kane and Junior settled an incident-packed match at Stangmore Park.
For an hour, it seemed they might stumble here — just as their manager had when he tried to control a dropping ball on the touchline, only to theatrically fall over.
Feeney saw the funny side then, but admitted he had been far from amused at his players’ first-half performance.
He revealed that a half-time dressing down kick-started their comeback.
“In the first-half, we were poor, we were sluggish, we didn’t get going. We went through the motions and probably showed them too much respect,” he said.
“I went in at half-time and had a few words with them, in a positive way, but also told them what I expect.
“I changed the shape and I thought even when they had 11 men, coming out in the second-half, it was the reaction I wanted and I thought we were very dominant.”

The Glens had trailed to Ben Gallagher’s penalty in first-half stoppage time.
Gallagher wasted a big chance to make it 2-0, before Kane headed the visitors level with an hour gone.
The Swifts lost Caolan Marron to a red card, before Junior won it six minutes from the end.
