Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso has emerged as an overwhelming favourite to succeed Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager.
The Reds boss announced that he would be leaving at the end of the season on Friday. The decision from the German will bring an end to nine successful years on Merseyside.
