Arsenal confirmed team news vs Brentford as Gabriel Martinelli out and Zinchenko returns
Gabriel Martinelli misses out for Arsenal in their Premier League clash with Brentford at Emirates Stadium. The Brazilian came off injured in Monday's 6-0 win over Sheffield United. Speaking after the game Mikel Arteta confirmed that this was due to a cut on his foot.
«We had a little issue with Gabi Martinelli,» the Spaniard said at Bramall Lane. «He had a slight cut in his foot. We need to wait and see how it is.»
Unfortunately Martinelli has not recovered in time to be fit for this match. It remains to be seen if he will be fit in time for Tuesday's Champions League second leg clash with Porto. He's replaced today by Leandro Trossard.
That's the only change to Monday night's line up in which Arsenal won 6-0. That means that Bukayo Saka is fit enough to start after overcoming an illness that saw him withdrawn at half time at Bramall Lane.

Oleksandr Zinchenko, meanwhile, is back in the squad. The Ukrainian has been absent for a month with a recurrence of a calf injury that dogged him in the New Year. He is on the subs bench, with Jakub Kiwior continuing in the left back role.
Jorginho is perhaps a surprise selection in midfield alongside Declan Rice. Fabio Vieira and Emile Smith Rowe are both options on the bench.
The other big change sees Aaron Ramsdale replace David Raya. It could well be the last game in an Arsenal shirt for the England international, who has lost his starting place to Raya. The Spaniard, however, is ineligible today due to loan restrictions.
