Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group are in talks with a number of media companies over the potential creation of a behind-the-scenes documentary.
Business website Bloomberg first reported on Tuesday that FSG have engaged with several media firms over finding a home for such a project, with the report claiming that manager Jurgen Klopp is supportive of the current plans, unlike in 2018 when the club turned down interest from Amazon to be part of its All Or Nothing series, a decision which Klopp was key to.
The talks, it was stressed in the report, might not lead to the creation of a documentary, but given the increasing push towards finding better ways to reach and connect with audiences, major teams from across sports have looked towards the production of such content. Well-placed sources in the United States that the ECHO has since spoken to have confirmed early stage talks have taken place.

Arsenal, Manchester City,Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle United have all featured in the All Or Nothing series, while the success of the Disney+ show ‘Welcome to Wrexham’, which charts the fortunes of the North Walian club following its takeover by Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, has transformed the club’s finances and opened it up to a global audience, with particular interest coming from the United States.
The Netflix documentary ‘Sunderland Til I Die’ was also a hit, with that particular documentary proving the inspiration for Reynolds and McElhenney to pursue a similar strategy with Wrexham.
