What Chelsea fans chanted at Malo Gusto after brilliant Nicolas Jackson moment vs Brentford

The travelling Chelsea contingent directed a new chant at Malo Gusto after Nicolas Jackson put the Blues ahead against Brentford. the 22-year-old striker fired Mauricio Pochettino's side ahead at the G-Tech Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon with a brilliant header shortly before half-time.

Gusto, who arrived at Chelsea from Olympique Lyonnais in the summer, whipped an excellent cross into the box. Jackson, who also only joined the west Londoners a few months ago, leapt above Mathias Jørgensen and nodded the ball past Mark Flekken to give Chelsea the lead.

The Senegal international wheeled away in celebration, putting his finger to his lips – a 'shush celebration' which he's become infamous for recently. As Jackson led his side back to their own half for the restart, the travelling Blues fans heaped praise on Gusto for his delivery, chanting: «Malo Gusto!»

While only short and simple, the away supporters were desperate to make their feelings clear about the Frenchman, who has been excellent at right-back in the absence of Reece James. Earlier this month, Gusto issued a defiant message which went down a treat with Chelsea fans.

«We are Chelsea and it was important to show the fans we are not dead,» said the 20-year-old. «We had a meeting before the game and the coach told us to get a good mentality. That we had to stay together under pressure.

»We know that the group is young. So it’s important that we stay together and we will all become better. We know we have to show more. We have to show our talent. But we are a young squad and we will improve. All together to become better."
