There was something wholly appropriate about the fact barely 16 hours after his Liverpool team booked a place in another Wembley final, Jurgen Klopp was already focusing on the next available route to the national stadium.
A quick turnaround from Wednesday night's League Cup semi-final second leg at Fulham meant Klopp was back facing the media again at the AXA Training Centre on Thursday afternoon to preview the FA Cup fourth round clash at home to Championship side Norwich City this weekend.
The names of the opponents may change, but the task does not. And with each passing game, there is a growing sense of Liverpool building up for the business end of the campaign.

So it was telling that after the final whistle at Craven Cottage, Klopp opted not to deliver his trademark triple fist-pump that so often marks a memorable Liverpool occasion. Sure, the Reds didn't win on the night, but their 1-1 draw was sufficient to set up another final against Chelsea, who they overcame in the League and FA Cup showpieces in 2022 and the UEFA Super Cup in August 2019.
The Liverpool boss, though, knows there is no time to overly dwell on matters. Not when there's so much work to do. Chelsea come to Anfield three days after Norwich, then it's another trip to Arsenal as the Premier League title race takes precedent. But if the schedule is unrelenting, then so too are Liverpool.
