Gary Lineker and Danny Murphy agree that the referee made the right call in not giving Manchester City a late penalty against Chelsea for a handball.
During the match at the Etihad Stadium, with the score at 1-1, the ball hit Levi Colwill's hand in Chelsea's penalty area. This led to loud calls for a penalty from Man City players.
After a tense wait while VAR reviewed the incident, the decision on the field of no penalty was upheld because the handball was accidental. There was another penalty claim by City that was checked by VAR, but the technology agreed with referee Andy Madley's decision not to award a penalty when Raheem Sterling and Kyle Walker clashed in the box. Murphy also agreed with this decision.

"I think Andy Madley did brilliantly with this one and got it spot on," he said on Match of the Day. "The more you see it, Walker goes across Sterling and puts his leg across and Sterling doesn't even see him coming. He initiates the contact, I think it's a really good decision."
Talking about a late handball call, football experts Murphy and Lineker both agreed with the decision but understood why Manchester City might be upset. Murphy said: "This one, I understand the discontent and the disappointment from City's players with this because if you think of Luton Sheffield United last week and some of the ridiculous handballs we've seen this season."
