Alejandro Balde
The 19-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough season with Barcelona last term as he became the latest prospect off the conveyor belt at La Masia.
Balde made 30 starts in La Liga as Xavi’s side claimed the league title, with the 19-year-old forcing the veteran Marcos Alonso to occupy a more central role. His performances saw him called up to the Spain national term, with the teenager earning five caps so far.
From a Liverpool perspective, Andy Robertson is the undisputed first-choice at left-back but the talented Balde would offer tougher competition for his place than Kostas Tsimikas.
