A reported asking price has been mentioned at £50 million if any club wants to sign Ait-Nouri from Wolves this month. Should that not happen, then a move in the summer window may be more likely for the defender who moved to Molineux from French club Angers in 2021, for a reported fee of £9.5 million.
Ait-Nouri is currently on international duty with Algeria as they compete in the Africa Cup of Nations. The Wolves defender played the full 90 minutes on Monday as Algeria was held to a 1-1 draw with Angola in their first group game of the tournament.
Arsenal currently have two left-back options in their squad, with Zinchenko currently the first-choice under Arteta. Jakub Kiwior, who predominantly plays at centre-back, has been used at left-back in recent games, including the defeats to Fulham in the Premier League and Liverpool in the FA Cup.
