McDonald's is an extremely popular UK fast food chain and, while it may not be the healthiest option, sometimes you just need a little pick-me-up from the place with the golden arches.
While the menu here consists of burgers, fries, snacks, and desserts, there are now branches in more than 100 countries, and what's on offer can vary drastically. For example, McDonald's restaurants in Thailand offer steamed rice as a side dish, while diners in France can get their hands on a McBaguette.
And McDonald's restaurants in a number of nations sell beer alongside the food. That's right, you can get a McBeer.

Sweden, the Netherlands and Spain are just some of around a dozen countries where you can order a burger and a beer. So why doesn't McDonald's sell the alcoholic beverage here in the UK?
While many British diners would likely enjoy a cold beer with their meals, McDonald's has said the idea simply "doesn't fit".
A spokesperson said: "Although a number of European McDonald's markets serve alcoholic beverages as part of their menu, it's not something that fits with the family-friendly focus of our restaurants in the U.K.
"There also isn't huge customer demand for it."
