Arsenal got back to winning ways against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon to reignite their title bid. It was a victory that moved the Gunners into third position behind Liverpool and Manchester City.
Goals from Gabriel and Leandro Trossard, either side of an own goal from Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson, set the Gunners on their way. Gabriel Martinelli then fired a brace in added-time to complete the rout and pile further misery on their fellow Londoners with a 5-0 verdict at the Emirates Stadium.
As things stand, Arsenal have played a game more than Liverpool — who play Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon — and City with two points separating those sides and Aston Villa in fourth spot.
